User Agreement
This User Agreement ("Agreement") governs the relationship and forms a binding contract between BrainLea ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") and the parents, legal guardians, and student users (collectively, "Users," "you," or "your") of the BrainLea website, virtual coding classrooms, student sandboxes, and learning portals (the "Platform").
1Eligibility and Parental Authority
Our Services are designed for children aged 7 to 15. Because minors cannot enter into legally binding contracts, the following rules apply:
- Parent/Guardian Agreement: A parent or legal guardian must register the account, provide payment, and manage all scheduling. By creating an account, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child being enrolled and agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the student user.
- Parent Responsibilities: Parents are responsible for ensuring that their child has a quiet learning space, meets the basic hardware requirements (functioning webcam, microphone, and stable internet), and understands the classroom behavioral expectations.
2Classroom Code of Conduct (Zero-Tolerance)
BrainLea provides a collaborative, encouraging, and highly interactive live classroom space. We enforce a **Zero-Tolerance Policy** to protect all students and instructors.
Prohibited Classroom Behaviors:
- Bullying, teasing, or intimidating classmates
- Use of offensive or inappropriate language
- Sharing inappropriate screens or virtual backgrounds
- Spamming the classroom chat with spam text
- Purposefully disrupting or interrupting lessons
- Impersonating other students or using fake names
Consequences of Misconduct: Instructors have the right to mute or temporarily remove a disruptive student from a live class. Severe or repeated infractions will result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of the parent's account by BrainLea administration, without any refund.
3Live Classroom Recordings
To provide a secure and high-quality educational environment, live Zoom or Jitsi coding classes may be recorded:
- Purpose of Recordings: We record classes for child safety, quality audit reviews, mentor coaching, and to provide enrolled students with session playbacks to review lessons they missed.
- Access Control: Classroom recordings are strictly confidential. Access is limited to authorized BrainLea safety managers, the course instructor, and the parents/students enrolled in that specific batch. We do not sell or share recordings with external advertisers.
- Retention & Deletion: Classroom recordings are stored on secure cloud services and automatically deleted or archived within 6 months of the class date, unless a parent requests longer access for student reference.
- Consent: By enrolling your child in our live classes, you grant consent for BrainLea to capture these educational recordings. If you do not wish your child's face or voice to be recorded, you may toggle the webcam and microphone off inside the classroom settings.
4Account Security & Responsibility
Parents are responsible for keeping account passwords secure. You agree to immediately notify us of any security breach or unauthorized access to your student dashboard. BrainLea will not be held liable for any loss or unauthorized use resulting from a shared account password.
5Termination of Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our sole discretion, with or without notice, in the event of:
- A direct violation of this User Agreement or the Terms & Conditions.
- Failure to settle subscription billing invoices on time.
- Behavior by a parent or student that endangers the safety, privacy, or learning experience of other students.
