Children's Privacy Notice

Last Updated: June 2, 2026

BrainLea is designed for young learners and is managed through parent or guardian accounts. This notice explains how we handle learner information, parent consent, classroom recordings, and parent rights in a simple, family-friendly way.

1Parent Consent

We ask a parent or legal guardian to create the account, book classes, manage payments, and approve participation. Consent may be confirmed through account setup, class booking, checkout, support verification, or another reasonable parent-confirmation method.

If we learn that a child provided personal information without parent permission, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or obtain the required parent confirmation.

2Learner Information We Collect

Profile details

First name or display name, age or grade range, course level, learning preferences, and timezone or scheduling details.

Classroom participation

Attendance, chat messages, audio, video, screen sharing, class notes, and recordings where enabled.

Learning work

Code, projects, assignments, quiz activity, certificates, progress history, and teacher feedback.

Safety and platform data

Login events, device details, error logs, abuse-prevention data, and support records needed to keep classes safe.

3How We Use Learner Information

  • Run live lessons, demos, projects, and learning dashboards.
  • Save learner progress and provide teacher feedback.
  • Keep classrooms safe, respectful, and properly supervised.
  • Provide lesson review, class quality checks, and support.
  • Improve educational content and platform reliability.

We do not sell learner information and do not use children's personal information for behavioral advertising.

4Class Recordings and Live Tools

Classes may use live video, audio, chat, screen sharing, and recordings for safety, quality, and lesson review. Access to recordings is limited to authorized team members, instructors, and the relevant family or class group when playback is provided.

5Sharing Learner Information

We share learner information only with service providers that help operate the learning platform, such as cloud hosting, authentication, classroom, support, analytics, and communication services.

Public sharing of a learner project happens only when the parent or account holder chooses to share it, or when a project is shown inside a controlled class or dashboard experience.

6Parent Rights

Parents or legal guardians can ask us to:

  • Review the learner information we hold.
  • Correct inaccurate learner information.
  • Delete learner information, subject to required billing, safety, or legal records.
  • Stop further collection or use where continued participation is no longer desired.
  • Close the learner account.
