Cancellation & Refund Policy
At BrainLea, we strive to deliver the highest quality coding education for kids. To maintain fairness for our instructors and protect the integrity of our course materials, we adhere to the following cancellation and refund policies.
1. Free Trial Classes
First-time students are eligible for a 100% free trial class with no commitment or credit card required. If you decide not to enroll in a paid program after your trial class, you will not be charged.
2. 7-Day Refund Policy (First-Time Purchases)
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time course or class package enrollments to ensure you are satisfied with our learning platform.
To be eligible for a full refund under this guarantee:
- The refund request must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days from the date of purchase.
- The student must have attended no more than one (1) live class session.
If you attend two or more live sessions, or if the request is made after 7 days, the purchase becomes final and non-refundable.
3. Subscription Billing & Cancellations
If you are enrolled in a monthly or recurring billing plan:
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Student/Parent Dashboard or by emailing support.
- Cancellation stops all subsequent automatic renewals. You will not be billed for any future cycles.
- Once canceled, your child will retain platform access and schedule rights until the end of the current paid billing cycle.
- We do not offer prorated refunds or credits for partial billing periods.
4. Rescheduling & 1:1 Class Cancellations
Because our instructors reserve dedicated slots for live 1:1 tutoring, late cancellations disrupt scheduling.
- To reschedule or cancel an individual scheduled 1:1 class session, you must notify us at least 24 hours prior to the class start time.
- If notice is given 24 hours or more in advance, you can reschedule the class through the dashboard without penalty.
- If cancellation or rescheduling is requested less than 24 hours before the session, or if the student does not show up (no-show), the session credit will be marked as used and cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
5. Cohort/Live Batch Course Transfers
For multi-week cohort-based live courses, once the course batch begins, refunds are not available. However, if a student is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, you may request to transfer the enrollment to a future cohort batch of the same course (subject to seat availability). Request for batch transfer must be made in writing before the third class session of the current batch.
